Your first consultation
Everything starts with our new patient consultation. Including a dental check-up, oral cancer screening, any necessary x-rays and a 30-minutes hygiene appointment with our dental hygienist, you can be assured of great care at Contemporary Dental. This appointment will:
- give you time to talk to us about any dental concerns
- take a thorough look at your teeth and gums including jaw, gums, lips, cheeks, tongue and your general medical health
- assess any existing dental work
- take any necessary x-rays
- discuss the need for follow up visits
We will then discuss with you any treatment you may need to improve your general dental health. We will also be able to give you a written treatment plan and an estimate of potential costs so you are fully informed every step of the way. If at any stage of treatment you have any concerns at all we are here for you to talk through any issues and set your mind at ease.
Once you have the smile you always wanted, our dentists, hygienists and clinical support team will help you keep it that way, with ongoing hygiene and maintenance treatment to minimise the chance of any further dental intervention.
