Fun Facts for National Children’s Health Month

1.Baby Teeth are Super Important!

Did you know that baby teeth help guide adult teeth into the right positions? Even though they’re temporary, they play a big role in your child’s oral health.

2.Brushing Teeth Can Be Fun!

Make brushing fun! If you brush together with your child and use colorful toothbrushes or play a favorite song, brushing time can become a fun family activity.

3.Sugar Loves to Hide in Drinks!

Even fruit juice can be full of sugar! It’s better to serve juice in moderation and always encourage water to keep those teeth healthy.

4.Dentists Are Your Friends!

Visiting the dentist regularly helps catch problems early, and it’s also a great way to get your child used to the dentist’s office. The dentist is there to help keep their smile shining bright!

5.Healthy Habits Start Early!

Children who develop good oral hygiene habits early in life are more likely to have healthy teeth as they grow up. Start teaching them how to brush and floss by age 2!
