October 2020 Update

It has been five months since we reopened after lockdown and are pleased to let you know that we have extended our opening hours on a Monday to provide a much-needed late night.

If you have been in for an appointment since we reopened in June, you will already be aware of some of the changes put in place to keep the practice safe from Covid-19. But, for those who have not yet been in we wanted to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to maintain safe operating procedures, these include asking every patient to clean and sanitise their hands on entering the practice, asking patients to wear a face mask in all areas outside of the surgery, ensuring fallow time after each appointment and using a disinfectant fogging machine to sanitise the surgery between patients. You will be greeted by our team who are in PPE to ensure both the safety of themselves, but also our patients.

We are aware of the reported increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Exeter and we are monitoring this closely, we are being reassured by the council and the government that this is localised to the University and is being contained. We do, however, know that this can cause alarm, so we want to let you know that we are offering parking in our own, private car park located at the back of the practice. Should you choose to park there, or in the Bystock Terrace car park opposite the practice, you can call us from your car and we will collect you when we are ready to see you – making sure you are safe from unnecessary contact.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the procedures in place, please don’t hesitate to call us on 01392 490949, or email us at care@contemporarydental.co.uk.

In the meantime, please stay safe, keep well and we look forward to welcoming you into the practice for you next appointment soon.

Best wishes

Mark and the Contemporary Dental team
